This lovely new campsite booking engine called Campsited was founded with a simple goal, to be the best place to find and book great campsites and holiday parks across Ireland and the United Kingdom!
The idea came when founder Finán O’Donoghue went online to book a camping holiday for his family. It was much harder than expected, and when telling others afterwards he was overwhelmed by the number of people who had encountered similar difficulty when booking campsites online.
From there the seed was sown; Campsited would fix this problem for people everywhere!
The plan from day one has been to build an easy to use booking engine, tailored carefully for holiday parks, campsites, and their customers.
The concept brings together a great team, with thirty years combined experience making user friendly websites. To be sure Campsited would meet the needs of park owners, campers and holiday makers, we worked with all three to research, design and test the product.
Campsited launched to park owners in late 2014, to the public in January 2015, and is going really well so far as the journey progresses and many happy customers continue to book through the site.
The focus throughout 2016 and beyond is to continue adding more great camping destinations to the growing portfolio, refine existing features and add new ones.
